07/01/09 Well, things have been busy here at Obsession Racing. As you can probably guess, despite a good turnout and result at The National Finals at the end of September, we all came away from the 2008 season a little dissapointed that we still hadn't found that missing ingredient that would make Obsession a true force to be reckoned with. Over the past couple of months we have been thinking about our plans for the 2009 season, and possible changes that we could make to the car, in order to try and unlock the so far illusive true potential that we all know is locked away inside, and we found some interesting things along the way. 2009 is going to be an exciting year for us, as not only do we have the usual crew that work tirelessly at every meet we go to (Marie, Darren, Louise, Chris, Tina and of course baby laila) we are also pleased to welcome on board for the 09 season, proven Pro Modified Crew Chief Adrian Spencer, formerly of Gordon Appleton and Danny Cockerill fame, and also Dave 'Hollywood' Clarkson, again formerly of Gordon Appleton and Graham Ellis fame. Both guys are true professionals, and know exactly what it takes to make a car go down the track - quickly! In the off season there are things that we are testing which should improve the car's performance, there are some areas we have found for concern, that we believe have been holding the car back, and new toys that we will playing with, or in the words of one former supermod racer - a few gizmo's that we will be trying out!
